Bid Writing Event

Please come along and see just what funding is available for all kinds of community groups and events. It could be really useful if you are thinking of holding an event to bring your community together or if, as a group, there is a project you wish to get started, pop along and seek advice on what help is out there – you’ll be surprised!

The Hull Community Safety Partnership are funding a Hull Crime Reduction Fund (CRF) bid writing workshop.

The event will be held on Tuesday 10th December 2019 at Jubilee Church (Queens Hall), 62 King Edward Street, Hull, HU1 3SQ  09.00 – 13.00. Tea & Coffee will be served at 9am for 9.30am prompt start, buffet lunch to be provided at 12.30pm.

The event will be a great opportunity to find out more about the CRF and speak to staff involved in the Hull Community Safety Partnership (CSP) about the work being delivered in Hull by local agencies and third sector organisations.

We are delighted to be teaming up with Hull CVS who will be delivering a workshop on bid writing. They will be focusing on the CRF application form and giving handy tips on how to present your project ideas and evidence of need; what to include in budgets area; the importance of outlining how you will measure success; and why working with partners and knowing who else are operating in your community is so important. It is hoped that by the end of the session you’ll be better equipped to apply for the CRF and understand what the CRF judging panel are looking for and why.

At the event you’ll also be able to find out more about the grantfinder funding platform and other funding streams available in Hull.

If you want to attend please book a place by emailing with the names of those attending, the organisation you are representing, dietary requirements and any mobility issues by 5pm Thursday 5th December 2019.
