Wellbeing Worker Up to £18,645 per annum dependent on experience 37 hours per week based in Hull
Are you passionate about mental health recovery? Do you have experience working with young people? Are you looking for an opportunity to develop and progress? This is an exciting opportunity for someone who ideally has a health related degree as there are opportunities to progress into an IAPT pathway for the right candidate.
Hull and East Yorkshire Mind provides high quality mental health support to individuals, including young people. The Therapeutic and Early Intervention team provides evidence based therapy, group work and support to young people and adults across Hull and East Riding.
This role is dynamic and fast paced with lots of opportunities. You will be delivering guided selfhelp sessions and psychoeducation courses to adults and working with our young people’s groups to deliver structured wellbeing sessions. You will also be part of the assessment process for both young people and adults using tools such as the recovery star and specific IAPT datasets. We work closely with NHS agencies such as CAMHs and Let’s Talk.
Applicants must have experience of delivering training courses. They must also have a full current driving licence and access to their own transport for work purposes as the role will involve travel, predominantly in Hull and the East Riding. Hours of work may be between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm Monday to Friday with some weekend, bank holiday and evening working.
The post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
