Celebrating 10 years at Neighbourhood Network

As 2025 comes to a close, we’ve been feeling a little reflective. It’s hard to believe we’ve been at the helm of Neighbourhood Network for 10 whole years! Life is always busy, and time has a habit of rushing by, but this feels like an important milestone to pause and celebrate, especially after such a successful year for Neighbourhood Network.

Over the past decade, we’ve watched our charity grow, evolve and take on projects we could only have dreamed of when we started. Some of the highlights include:

• Bringing an RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden to Hull!
  A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience that gave us national recognition and created a beautiful community space at our centre that people continue to enjoy every day.
• Breathing new life into a closed community centre, transforming it into a thriving 7-day-a-week hub. It has become a warm, welcoming place where people can connect, learn, relax, and support one another, exactly what community is all about.
• Launching Menopaus’ull, our pioneering menopause support project. We’re incredibly proud to have supported thousands of women across Hull and East Riding, filling a much-needed gap and helping to build a strong, supportive and empowering community of women.

None of this would have been possible without our wonderful team of staff, trustees and volunteers. Their passion, dedication and belief in the work we do has shaped every success and brought every idea to life.

Here’s to everything we’ve accomplished together and to the next chapter of building safer, healthier and more connected communities!!!
