We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and compassionate Menopaus’ull Coordinator to lead and grow our Menopaus’ull Support Network.

The Neighbourhood Network is a charity dedicated to helping people create safer, healthier and more connected communities. Since 2021, we’ve proudly developed and grown the Menopaus’ull Support Network to become one of the region’s most recognised and trusted menopause support initiatives.

What began as a small project tackling loneliness during menopause, has evolved into a vibrant, county‑wide movement. With thousands now engaging in our peer‑to‑peer activities, it’s clear there is a significant unmet need for accessible, non‑medical menopause support. Our vision is bold and simple: to make Hull and the East Riding the best place in the UK for menopause support and care.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a project that is changing conversations around menopause, reducing isolation and empowering women across Hull and the East Riding.

We do this by:

Providing Support

• Offering high‑quality, holistic support for those who are peri‑menopausal, menopausal or post‑menopausal

Improving Collaboration

• Working closely with medical professionals to strengthen women’s health outcomes

Informing & Educating

• Delivering information, guidance, training and awareness sessions to reduce stigma and increase understanding

Learning & Developing

• Supporting research and innovation, using the Menopaus’ull network to test ideas that improve women’s health

About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, confident and passionate Menopaus’ull Project Coordinator to become the driving force behind our public‑facing Menopaus’ull activities. This is a hands‑on, people‑centred role, perfect for someone who thrives in community settings, enjoys building relationships and wants to make a meaningful difference to women’s health.

You’ll shape, deliver and champion the Menopaus’ull Support Network across Hull and the East Riding, ensuring our offer remains relevant, responsive and rooted in lived experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate a wide range of activities including Menopause Cafés, Walks & Talks, social sessions and information events
• Work with the Senior Leadership Team to design and deliver large‑scale events, including our flagship World Menopause Month programme
• Gather feedback and monitor impact to ensure activities continue to meet beneficiary needs
• Act as a central point of communication, support and signposting for beneficiaries

• Recruit, support and grow a thriving volunteer team, ensuring a positive experience for volunteers and participants
• Contribute to content creation across social media, newsletters and the website
• Support the development of Menopaus’ull resources, including printed and digital materials
• Assist with fundraising and income‑generation activities
• Deliver menopause awareness presentations to organisations and partners
• Support research projects requiring beneficiary engagement
• Contribute to operational reporting for funders and trustees
• Keep abreast of Health and Wellbeing news, updates and changes in local and national government policies, ensuring the highest levels of knowledge and awareness of Health & Wellbeing issues especially around the menopause topic.
• Work closely with the University of Hull to maximise opportunities linked to our unique menopause production launching October 2026

We’re Looking For

• A motivated, professional and compassionate individual who ideally has experience of working in or with the voluntary/community sector
• Understands menopause and its impact on individuals and communities
• Is confident engaging with diverse groups and facilitating activities
• Can work flexibly across Hull and the East Riding
• Is a team player who can also take initiative and lead on delivery
• Is willing to support wider Neighbourhood Network projects when needed
