Appeal following burglary of a boy’s cycle from Spring Bank in Hull

Humberside Police are investigating a robbery which happened on Spring Bank in Hull at around 4pm close to a local tyre and exhaust outlet on Thursday 24th August.

The incident was reported a short time after a 13 year old boy had a brand new GT fluorescent yellow mountain cycle stolen.  A man approached the boy from behind and pushed him to the floor before then riding off on the boy’s cycle along Hutt Street.

The investigation is underway and the police are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.

The man is described as tall and of skinny build with short dark hair.  He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, an Adidas top and may have had a neck tattoo.
