Appeal following Co-op supermarket burglary in North Ferriby

Humberside Police are appealing for information following a burglary at the Co-Op supermarket in High Street, North Ferriby in the early hours of  Thursday 24 August.

A black pick- up truck type vehicle approached the premises around 2am where five men in dark clothing were seen to get out of the vehicle and one of the occupants forced entry to the store.

The men entered the store and stole a quantity of cigarettes before leaving in the vehicle which is described as being similar to a Nissan Navara.

Officers attended immediately and undertook area searches and initial enquiries.  As part of the ongoing investigation they are interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen a similar vehicle in the area prior to and after the burglary.
