7th February 2018Assault on Anlaby Road Hull – 39 year-old man charged with Assault
A 15 year-old girl is alleged to have been assaulted as she walked on Anlaby Road in Hull at 9.30pm on Saturday 3 February. A man approached her and demanded her phone, he is alleged to have punched her in the face causing bruising and swelling to her face. She was taken to HRI for treatment.
The suspect was detained by members of the public outside West Park and officers arrived and arrested a 39 year-old Hull man. Barry Oxendale (39) of Beckhole Close in Hull has now been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and appeared at Hull Magistrates Court yesterday.
