Energy Champion and Partnerships Officer Job

Community VISION is seeking a:

Energy Champion and Partnerships Officer, to assist Community VISION in delivering the new and exciting project working on the Cadent centre for Warmth project across the North Lincolnshire area, to support people in vulnerable situations on the Vulnerability & Carbon Monoxide Allowance (VCMA) project.  The post holder will support individuals and community venues to co-ordinate volunteer Energy Champions and provide the necessary training to those champions, of which training will be provided.

The postholder will work as part of the Community VISION CIO staff team and the wider partnership delivering on the project.

Working within the community, ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions will be delivered and targeted at professionals, community facilities and local community leaders who are working directly with vulnerable people that are struggling to pay their bills and/or are at risk of fuel poverty.

Salary: £18,250 (FTE £27,010) per annum, + pension contribution (10.6%)

Area of work: Based at our office in Scunthorpe

Hours: 25 hours per week

Length of contract: 31^st March 2026
