Anlaby Communities Trust will be holding their 1st community event on 10th June 2017, between the hours of 11am-4pm.
The free community event will be held at the St Mark’s site (Hull Rd, Anlaby Common), utilising the site’s buildings (community hall, church building, Scout HQ) and grounds.
The event aims to: bring communities together, be a fun and entertaining day for all ages and enable local groups/agencies to engage with local people and promote what they do. Come along and visit the Neighbourhood Network stand, we will be located outside, next to the Police.
A varied programme is planned, to offer something for all ages. As well as family-oriented activities (e.g. Donkey rides, inflatable, fire engine, crafts, face painting, safe play space, ‘big games’), it is hoped to include displays (e.g. Schools, local history, craft groups), entertainments /performance area, stands/information (local groups, organisations, agency services including those covering the themes of health, volunteering and community safety).
