Man injured in attempted robbery around Beverley Road, Hull

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in the Beverley Road area of Hull around 5pm on Friday 19 May.

A 29-year-old man was cycling along the track that runs between Beverley Road and Dover Street, close to the junction with Park Road, when he was approached and assaulted from behind. There was a struggle, where the suspect allegedly tried to take the victim’s bike but was not successful. The suspect then ran away.

The victim suffered serious facial injuries following the incident.
