Housing Support Worker vacancy at Giroscope

Giroscope are recruiting a Housing Support worker (specialising in working with destitute people seeking asylum)

Giroscope Housing Organisation in conjunction with Open Doors Hull are looking for a motivated individual committed to supporting vulnerable people in the City of Hull.  You will be primarily based in West Hull and will manage a caseload of clients including residents in properties who have no resources to public funds.

This exciting and challenging opportunity is a one-year post (that may be made permanent for the right candidate) that will involve the successful candidate working across two organisations and their client groups.

You will have the support of colleagues who share your skills, enthusiasm and motivation.  Your work may be challenging, but always stimulating and rewarding.

• Hours: 15 hours/week 
• Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 per annum (Pro rata, depending on experience/skills)
