Hull: Cyber Security for Charities and Small Groups workshop

Do you know how to protect your organisation against a cyber-attack?

Have you thought about the risks to your charity if you were hacked, phished or your online presence crashed?

East Riding Voluntary Action Service (ERVAS) have partnered with NAVCA and the NCSC to bring you an awareness session about how to protect your organisation and understand more about what cyber security means to you.

The session will cover the following:

  • What is cyber security
  • Threats that charities face
  • Backing up your data
  • Protecting your charity from malware
  • Keeping your smartphones safe
  • Using passwords
  • Avoiding phishing attacks
  • Reporting an incident

If you would like to discuss the session further, please do not hesitate to contact them directly on 01482 871 077 or email
