The Hull Live at Home scheme  want to enable older people to maintain their independence and live fulfilled later lives. They aim to do this by providing and running befriending, lunch clubs, activity and friendship sessions, outings, escorts to appointments and more. MHA’s Live at Home Schemes help to tackle loneliness and isolation in people over 55 – helping them to remain active members in their community.

The Scheme Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Scheme to meet the needs of older people within the local community. The Scheme could operate across multiple sites within the geographical catchment with the aim to reach and support as many people as we can.

This community based post requires an individual with a range of business and operational skills, but critically, who possess a strong drive to deliver high quality services that reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of community settings. This role has a large focus on community development and is not a housing association position.

The Scheme Manager will be responsible for line managing, supervising and recruiting and selecting any additional staff appointments and volunteers to the Scheme. Volunteers are crucial to the successful operating of any MHA Live at Home Scheme.
