Today (Monday 24 May 2021) a man has been arrested following a drugs warrant served at an address in East Hull.
The 34 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the supply of Class B drugs and remains in police custody as investigations are continued.
Leading this morning’s raid was Sergeant Joanna Clark, she said: “Tackling drug crimes within the Humberside Force area is a priority for us as it has a big impact on local communities, anti-social and disruptive behaviour often follows drug use and dealing.
“It is our aim to disrupt these criminals to remove drugs from our streets.
“Our action against these offenders and drug gangs remains ongoing and I want to thank the members of the public who have provided us with information so far. I would encourage anyone with information about drug dealing in their community to call us on 101 to report it to us.”
If you are concerned about drug related crime in your area, speak to your local team or call the non-emergency 101 line. If you’d rather not give your name, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. If someone is in immediate danger, always call 999.
