Hull man charged with burglary

A 51-year-old man has been charged in relation to a burglary on Grantchester Close in Hull on Friday 7 April.

It is reported that a man entered a property and is believed to have assaulted an 80-year-old man before taking a quantity of cash.

Paul Westerman, aged 51, of Grantchester Close, Hull was arrested and later charged with burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.

Westerman appeared at Hull Magistrates Court on Monday 10 April where he was remanded into custody to appear at court at a later date.
