A 24-year-old man is in police custody following an incident at a premises on Alaska Street, Hull this morning, Sunday 2 October at 2:30am.
Authorities were called to reports that a man had been assaulted in a property by unknown individuals. The man is believed to have fled the premises and sought help from a neighbouring property.
Upon attending officers conducted a search of the property and discovered what is believed to be a cannabis factory.
The man was taken to hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries to his back and arm following on from the incident.
He has since been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and driving whilst disqualified and without insurance and remains in custody.
Officers are in the area continuing to conduct lines of enquiry in connection with the incident.
Police are now appealing to anybody who has any information or CCTV or dashcam footage of the area to contact them on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 64 of 2 October.
