Hull: Man in hospital following fire on Ribycourt

A man has sustained serious injuries during a fire at a house on Ribycourt in Hull which was reported to Humberside Fire and Rescue service just after 1am this morning (Friday 11 September 2020).

The man remains in hospital receiving treatment for smoke inhalation and is in a critical condition. 

At this stage of enquiries the cause of the fire is unexplained and police are working with fire scene investigators to confirm the full circumstances of the incident.

Humberside Police are appealing for anyone with information that would help with their enquiries to call on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 36 of 11 September 2020.
