Hull: Pickering and Ferens Homes Interchange programme

Did you know that Pickering and Ferens offer a ‘Try before you rent’ programme called ‘The Interchange’.  This is open to anyone 60+ that are considering  moving into a retirement living plus scheme. 

This scheme gives you the chance to see if this type of living is suitable for you, best of all, its free, for up to 3 weeks.  You will need to live independently , but you can have your own carers supporting you where needed.

This is a great opportunity for you to sample independent living in a Pickering Ferens Home. By offering the chance to try before making that big decision to move, offers people a unique experience. This is not a rehabilitation accommodation.

The eligibility is:

You have to be 60+

That you have to live or have lived/born in Hull or East Riding.

Equity limit of no more than £200,000 including property value and savings.

Can live independently – as Pickering Ferens offer no care ( but you can have your own care in place)

Are ready and looking to move, if a property became available.
