Hull: Purple House Women’s Centre seek Housing Officer

Purple House have a vacancy for a Full Time Housing Officer to manage a group of supported housing tenants on behalf of the Umbrella Housing service including supporting vulnerable tenants escaping Domestic Abuse to maintain tenancies and live independently.

The closing date for applications is 10th March 2020, interviews will be held on 19th March 2020

Job Purpose

To manage a group of supported housing tenants on behalf of the Umbrella Housing service including supporting vulnerable tenants escaping Domestic Abuse to maintain tenancies and live independently.

Job Dimensions

The Umbrella Service Housing Officer will work with local agencies and services within Preston Road Women’s Centre to match women with available properties, provide support to those women to maintain tenancies and ensure the properties are maintained to a high standard. She will also work with the team to source new properties on behalf of local private landlords and as part of the Umbrella Service Empty Homes development.
