Hull: Suspect holding imitation machine gun and samurai sword charged

Michael Zrinyi, 48, from Melrose Street in Hull has been charged with a number of offences in relation to an incident in Hull last week. 

Firearms officers were call to a report on Melrose Street on Wednesday 22 May of a suspect allegedly holding a weapon. The incident was brought to a safe conclusion and no-one was hurt.

Michael Zrinyi has been charged with two counts of possessing an imitation firearm, namely a sub machine gun, with intent to cause fear of violence, threatening a person with an offence weapon namely a samurai sword in a public place, threats to kill, and criminal damage. 

He’s already appeared at Hull Magistrate’s Court.
