Hull: Woman injured in handbag snatch

Can you help identify a robber who left a woman with broken bones after he snatched her handbag?

The incident happened in Garrick Close, Hull, at around 10am Friday 1st June, when a man on a bike came up behind her and grabbed her bag.

When she tried to fight back, he is said to have pushed her to the floor and ridden away with her black semi-circular shoulder bag, containing her Nokia mobile phone.

He is described as white, riding a dark coloured bike – possibly blue. He wore a navy hooded top with the hood up and dark coloured jeans and trainers.

The woman is currently being treated for her injuries in hospital.

Police would also like to appeal for anyone living in the area to check their gardens and bins, to see if her bag has been dumped there.

If you can help, please call on 101, quoting incident number 16/59556/18.
