10th April 2019Lifestyle 2019 – are you ready for the challenge?

Message from Humberside Police:-
We are delighted to announce that registration for Lifestyle 2019 is now open!
For 30 years, tens of thousands of young people have registered for Lifestyle and taken on challenges that have made a huge difference to communities across Humberside.
There are a host of fantastic prizes on offer for the most innovative and successful projects undertaken. These include: a week in South Africa, a trip to Disneyland Paris, UK adventure holidays, days out at Flamingo Land and Tockwith Racecourse and many more.

T/Chief Constable Chris Rowley said: “Now in its 30th year, Lifestyle is a really important initiative which has seen some incredible results over the years.
“Every year young people get together in groups and take on a challenge to help improve their community in some way.
“Last year we saw some incredibly innovative and inspiring activities. From using recycled plastic to make a buddy bench for a local school to raising money for a defibrillator for a local playing field, our Lifestylers were certainly busy and I really enjoyed hearing about each and every project.
“I hope this year proves equally popular and I look forward to seeing what this year’s Lifestylers get up to this summer.”
Principal Sponsor ARCO said: “Arco is delighted to continue our relationship with Lifestyle, and this year to extend our support to that of Principal Sponsor.
“Lifestyle allows youngsters the chance to showcase the difference they can make in their local communities, whilst building key skills such as team work, problem solving and communication and presentation skills.
“The enthusiasm and drive shown by all the teams taking part is truly inspiring, and to see this in practice is a joy and very humbling. I look forward to seeing the creative ideas from this year’s Lifestylers, and wish all participants the very best of luck.”
