Man in custody as £35,000 drugs seized

A man is currently in police custody after officers stopped a vehicle on Thursday 2 May in Hull.

The car was stopped on Hotham Road in Hull at approximately 2.40pm and upon searching the vehicle officers discovered approximately £35,000 worth of suspected class A drugs and approximately £4000 in cash, a knife was also recovered.

The man, 40, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of criminal property and driving whilst disqualified.

He remains in custody whilst officers continue to conduct lines of enquiry.
