A 26-year-old man has been jailed after he admitted possessing class A drugs with intent to supply and possessing a weapon.
McCauley Dove of Blackhope Close in Hull appeared at Hull Crown Court today, Thursday 29 February, where he was sentenced to 3 years and 8 months behind bars.
Officers conducted a warrant at his address in July 2023 where they found cocaine worth over £2000 as well as other drugs paraphernalia and a knuckleduster style weapon.
Dove was arrested and later charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
Officer in the case DC Ross Paterson said: “We are committed to tackling drug dealing in our area and will take a proactive approach in searching homes and seizing drugs.
“I am reassured that Dove is now off our streets and is facing a significant amount of time behind bars for his crimes.
“I hope the sentence given today sends a clear message to anyone else involved in the supply of drugs that we will come for you, and we will do everything in our power to put you before the courts.”
