KIDS are currently recruiting for Playworkers who are required to support and empower young people with disabilities and/or SEN to engage in a range of activities of their choice at the Youth Groups/Young Person’s Engagement Groups.
Playworkers are expected to help to plan activities on a weekly basis, ensuring that the young people are involved in the decision making process. Playworkers are responsible for the safety of the young people at all times in the Youth Groups/Young Person’s Engagement Groups settings, and on outings, and in the mini bus if applicable.
They will need to provide appropriate and sensitive physical and personal care. It is important that Playworkers are creative, enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour.
