Hull City Council are looking for a highly motivated conscientious and efficient individual who is customer focused and is able to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment,
Would you like to play a key role in helping to ensure an effective hull Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP). You will work as part of a ‘business unit’ with our HSCP Manager and Business Support Coordinator alongside our Independent Chair, as we work with colleagues from across the partnership to improve how we work together to keep children in Hull safe.
You will be a member of a small business support team, which is in place to provide administrative support to the work of the partnership.
Your main duties will be:
- Scheduling meetings
- Minute taking / action planning
- Communication with relevant safeguarding agencies and safeguarding lead professionals
- Acting as first point of contact for HSCP
- Dealing with sensitive information
The ideal candidate will have:
- Administrative experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and the Data Protection Act 2018
- An ability to work to deadlines and use own initiative
You must have the previous experience of working in an officer/administrative environment, understanding of the service area and services provided which this post will be providing support services to and also have experience of delivering services ensuring excellent customer experiences.
An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification, skills and experience are essential.
This can be offered as a secondment for internal applications and supporting external agencies.

Please not the current location for this role is based at Midmere Centre; however, we will be moving to a new location based in Witham.
This role is to cover for maternity leave until September 2023. Secondment will be considered for this role both internally and externally. Please discuss this with your employer if a viable option for yourself.
