South Ferriby: Appeal for witnesses following serious crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a blue BMW and a 74 year-old man.  The collision happened shortly before 4pm yesterday, 4 June, near to the post-office on Sluice Road in South Ferriby.  The car is reported to have left the road and struck the pedestrian.

A 74 year-old man who remains in Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.  The driver of the car and passengers were not harmed in the collision.
