Students continue to thrive at HOPE allotments on Orchard Park

In the heart of the Orchard Park Estate, PCSO Dawn Brown from the Neighbourhood Policing team has been working alongside partnering agencies including the council, local schools and businesses to ensure the successful launch of the HOPE allotments.

Dawn said: “We’ve been working with Sirius Academy North over the course of the last ten months and have successfully launched a scheme to help provide pupils an opportunity to learn life skills outside of the classroom.
“As a part of that, we were able to give the students further opportunity to design the logo for the allotments in the local community.”
