Three more people (aged 15 and 16) have been arrested in connection with the violent disorder and assault on Whitefriargate in Hull on Monday.
All three were arrested this afternoon (Wednesday) as police continue to seek to identify those captured on the CCTV footage. Authorities are grateful for the assistance of the public in identifying those involved.
Chief Superintendent Christine Wilson said, “I am pleased to update that a further three people have now been arrested, taking the total number arrested to seven.
“We continue to have a visible police presence in the city and will be working closely with the local businesses to provide reassurance to them. Our Neighbourhood Teams will be building on the work already done to continue to tackle anti-social behaviour and criminality like this in the city centre.
“I would appeal for anyone who knows anything about this incident or knows who’s involved to contact us.”
“If anyone has information that would help with our investigation please call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 416 of 21 February 2022.”
