On Monday 21st February, three men were sentenced for their part in a violent altercation that occurred in a Hull street in March last year.
Anthony Deakin (31) of Curzon Street, Hull, faces 31 months in jail, minus the time he has already spent on remand, for affray and wounding.
Lloyd Smith (31) of Camerton Grove, Hull, was handed a 27-week sentence, suspended for 12 months, and must complete 120 hours unpaid work.
Aiden Carron (23) of Homestead Road, Thorngumbald, received a 22-week sentence, suspended for 12 months, and must complete 100 hours unpaid work.

Officers were called to Gordon Street, Hull, at around 8:30pm on Monday 22nd March 2021 following reports of a disturbance. It was reported that Smith had assaulted and stabbed Deakin, who then fled the scene. Deakin returned with Carron in a vehicle, which was used to run over Smith.
Appearing at Hull Crown Court, all three men pleaded guilty to the offences.
Detective Sergeant Helen Collier of Hull CID said: “This was an isolated incident between known individuals but one that caused shock and distress to the local community.
“I would like to praise the witnesses for their help and also those who responded to our media appeals.
“I would also like to express my gratitude to my team for their quick response in dealing with this shocking incident. We work tirelessly to try to keep our streets safe.”
