The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) are a registered charity who have been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years.

Generis are a specialist training and development department and part of ADS. We deliver accredited and bespoke training packages to internal and external candidates.

Generis has an exciting career opportunity for someone with experience as a part time tutor/ assessor who wants to develop and deliver substance misuse training to a wide variety of organisations and learners.

If you have the Level 3 Education & Training (formally PTLLS) or equivalent and experience in Substance Misuse/ Health and Social Care and are willing to develop your skills as an assessor, then you could be the person we are looking for. 

If you already have experience, knowledge and skills in drugs and alcohol and would like the opportunity to use these skills in a different way; to train and develop others to work within Substance Misuse and help shape the future of the field for the next generation then we can also provide a comprehensive training package to enhance your skills.

Salary: £25397 – £30991 pro rata
