Volunteer to Employment Pathway Programme

Hull CVS are running a Volunteer Academy Training Programme, which is for anyone already volunteering, interested in volunteering or new volunteers and it gives them the opportunity to attend a FREE one-day core training programme that will prepare them for the world of volunteering and covers the following core essentials:

An Introduction to Volunteering

Safeguarding Adults and Children (Awareness)

Health and Safety

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Data Protection

Following attendance on the Volunteer Academy Training Programme session, they will provide them with an appointment to speak to one of their dedicated advisors who will provide support to help them gain further skills and experience and progress into a volunteering opportunity.

They also offer this training for 16 – 18-year-olds with the view of them progressing into a work experience or internship placement.
