West Carr Neighbourhood Fun Day a great success!

On Saturday 26th March the Neighbourhood Network Team delivered a Neighbourhood Fun Day for the residents of West Carr.

The FREE event gave families the chance to have fun with donkey rides, trampolines, inflatable slides, crafting, juggling, face painting and balloon modelling. The Lord Mayor paid the event a very special visit, as did 8ft Robot Giant – Bob!

Along with the fun activities, local agencies such as ReNew, Smoke Free Hull, Environment Agency and Active Travel provided advice and information for residents.

Local Bluewatch Team from Humberside Fire and Rescue attended, as well as the local police team. Children were able to climb into the police riot van and fire engine, ask lots of questions and hopefully inspired the young people to choose their future careers!
