Hull Carnival Arts open day for volunteer recruitment

Want to be part of a fun team dabbling in a creative pursuit, contributing to a community carnival resource?

Hull Carnival Arts are having an Open Day at their studios on WED 10TH APRIL, drop in anytime between 10AM-3PM

Hull Carnival Arts, Scrapstore Studios, Dairycoates Ave, Hull HU3 5DB.

You are welcome to come and see, back scenes, at Hull Carnival Arts. Take a nosey around their costume studio, and making workshop.

They are re-launching their Carnival Crew volunteer scheme, so are inviting people to see where the magic happens.

Pop along and pick up an application form on the day.

The carnival creating sessions will start from early April for 10 weeks every Wednesday 10-3pm. Join up as part of the Carnival Crew to take part in these sessions.

These sessions will be ‘back stage’ workshop sessions where they will repair / maintain existing work and make new carnival artefacts ready for the summer carnival season.
