Health & Wellbeing Event 2024 – 26.06.24

Join us at the Health and Wellbeing Event at North Point Shopping Centre and the Alf Marshall Community Centre!

Mark your calendars for a special health-focused event on Wednesday, 26th June 2024, from 10am to 2pm at North Point Shopping Centre and the Alf Marshall Community Centre, Bransholme. Organised by the Neighbourhood Network and City Health Care Partnership, this event is designed to guide and support individuals in improving their health and wellbeing.

Event Highlights:

• Health Stalls: Explore a variety of health stalls spread throughout North Point Shopping Centre, offering information and support tailored to a range of health needs. Whether you’re seeking advice on nutrition, mental health, fitness, or medical services, there’s something for everyone.
• Demonstrations: Head over to the Alf Marshall Community Centre for engaging demonstrations on health and wellness practices.
• Light Refreshments: After gathering information and participating in the demonstrations, why not enjoy a complimentary light refreshment at the Alf Marshall Community Centre.

This free event is an excellent opportunity to access valuable health resources and connect with professionals who can help you on your wellness journey. Whether you’re looking to make lifestyle changes, find support for a specific health concern, or simply learn more about maintaining good health, this event has something to offer.

Demonstrations will take place at the Alf Marshall Community Centre, and will include the following:

• 10.30am until 11am – Tai Chi with Steve Moore
• 11.15am until 12pm – Cooking with Sarah Pittaway from Cookstars – Chinese veggie baked noddles/Chicken pad thai
• 12.15pm until 1pm – Cooking with Sarah Pittaway from Cookstars – Lowfat summer fruit cheesecake
• 1.30pm until 2pm – Line Dancing with Jill Roberts from Dance Dynamics
