Empowering Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators and members across the Humber region.

Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators from across the Humber region are invited to the Humber Watch Association Conference on Wednesday, 5th June 2024, from 12pm to 3pm. This important event, dedicated to enhancing community safety and collaboration, will be held at the Alf Marshall Community Centre, located at 87 Goodhart Road, Bransholme, Hull, HU7 4EE. The event promises to provide valuable insights and networking opportunities for all attendees.

Event Highlights:

• Opening Address: The conference will be inaugurated by Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner, Jonathan Evison. His address will highlight the critical role of Neighbourhood Watch in maintaining community safety and fostering cooperation between residents and law enforcement.
• Guest Speaker – Cheryl Spruce: We are delighted to welcome Cheryl Spruce from the national Neighbourhood Watch Network. Cheryl will discuss the latest campaigns and developments within Neighbourhood Watch on a national scale, offering valuable information and resources to enhance local initiatives.
• Presentation on Rural Crime: Sgt Kevin Jones from Humberside Police will present plans and strategies on how the force is tackling rural crime. This session will provide practical insights and strategies for Co-ordinators working in rural areas.
• Free Buffet Lunch: Attendees can enjoy a complimentary buffet lunch while networking with fellow Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators, exchanging ideas, and building stronger community ties.

This free event is an excellent opportunity for Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators to gain new knowledge, share experiences, and strengthen their community networks.
